Position Title:
Tattoo Studio Coordinator & Administrative Assistant
Job Description:
We are seeking a disciplined and resourceful individual to join our team as a Tattoo Studio Coordinator & Administrative Assistant. This versatile role is pivotal to the smooth operation of our tattoo studio and provides critical support to both our clients and artists.
Salary & Commission:
Hourly Wage: $20/hour.
Hours: Full-time position averaging 36-44 hours per week.
Commission: Generous 2-5% commission for each client booked with a collected deposit. Which can be increased based on experience or performance over time.
Primary Responsibilities:
Client Management: Be the first point of contact for clients, managing bookings, confirming appointments, and handling queries with outstanding professionalism.
Deposit Coordination: Ensure all bookings are secured with deposits, keeping accurate records for accounting purposes.
Inventory Oversight: Monitor and manage the studio's inventory, ensuring that all necessary tattoo supplies and office materials are well-stocked.
Shop Maintenance: Uphold the cleanliness and organization of the studio, maintaining a sterile and welcoming environment for clients and staff.
Artist Support: Proactively stock artists’ stations with all required supplies, readying them for each client without disruption.
Financial Errands: Perform bank runs and handle financial transactions as needed.
Reception Duties: Check clients in, ensuring a smooth experience, and provide comprehensive support throughout their visit.
Administrative Tasks: Undertake a variety of administrative duties, including, but not limited to, record keeping, file management, and correspondence handling.
Owner Support: Offer on-call assistance to the tattoo shop owner, managing special requests, and any additional tasks that support business operations.
Additional Responsibilities:
Marketing Assistance: Contribute ideas and assist with marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
Scheduling Management: Coordinate artist schedules, manage cancellations, and reschedule appointments as necessary.
Event Planning: Assist in organizing and planning studio events or promotional activities.
Social Media Engagement: Engage with clients and promote the studio through social media platforms when necessary.
Qualifications:
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
A high level of professionalism and discretion.
Previous experience in administrative roles or customer service is preferred.
Familiar with standard office software and point-of-sale systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Basic knowledge of the tattoo industry is beneficial but not required.
